| Characteristics: | Fast drying 2K topcoat for general vehicles and automobile cars, features good leveling, hard paint film, brilliant gloss, bright and durable color. |
| Surface cleaning: | Sand and clean the substrate (old paint film or 1K, 2K primer) with EC-5911 Degreaser With sanding paper P600-P800 for wet sanding, and P400-P600 dry sanding. |
| Mixing ratio: | 2K topcoat: hardener: reducer = 2 : 1 : 0.1-0.4 Mix with EC-5520 1K Binder or EC-60 Flip Controller to speed up air drying time, enhance the orientation of metallic particles, and improve property in application. |
| Spray Gun | Gravity feed: 1.2-1.4mm; HVLP: 2.0 bar |
| Spraying | Spray 2-3 coats, total should be 40-60μm Drying time: 20 ℃, 45 mins; 60 ℃, 30 mins. After spray, 15 -20 minutes’ air drying before hearting.Apply EC-5920 Thinner SRA directly on the overspray areas to achieve a natural transition. |
| Defects preventing | Add 0.5-1% EC-5930 Anti Silicon in the paint remained and re-spray to avoid and solve fisheyes. Add EC-5960 Retarder Solvent when temperature is over 30℃ (54℉) to avoid blushing. If runs happen, sand with P1200-P2000 sand paper after thorough drying and then polish. |
