This is surface mount female header. 2.54mm female header is the common specification. Mostly be used in circuit design by engineer. Female pin connector is PCB connector for board to board connector connections. Pitches are ranging from 0.8mm to 5.08mm.Win-Win accept factory standard header connectors and a large element of customization are also available. Pin lengths and insulator heights are selectable. Other features such as locating peg,shrouding,polarization,keyed or elecated headers and sockets are also customization available.

APPLICATION
Board-to-board connectors (Board to board connectors) are design to connect printed circuit boards together directly without the using of cables. This kind of connectors can be soldering with a permanent method, that is "hard soldering". Solder both ends of a pin header to PCB. This method can be used in some devices that don't require any cycle mating. But most of the time, header applications in printed circuite boards are required to be connected and disconnected to simplify the assembly and make the design more flexibility.
