Aluminium Sheets Cold Roll Material

Aluminum sheet refers to the rectangular material whose cross-section is rectangular, and thickness is uniform made by pressure processing (cutting or sawing) with aluminum or aluminum alloy materials. The aluminum profile which is more than 0.2mm and less than 500mm in thickness, and width above 200mm, less than 16m in length is accustomed to be internationally called aluminum plate or aluminum sheet, thickness below 0.2mm is aluminum foil, width within 200mm is called row material or strip.

Common Uses
The four most common aluminium grades available as sheet matal are 1xxx, 3xxx and 5xxx series.

1xxx series is commercially aluminium, so it is highly chemical and weather resistant. It is ductile enough for deep drawing and weldable, but low strength, which is commonly used in chemical processing equipment, light reflectors, cooking, and jewelry.

3xxx series is stronger than 1100, while maintaining the same formability and low cost, It is corrosion resistant and weldale. It is often used in stampings, spun and drawn parts, mail boxes, cabinets, tanks, reflectors and fan blades.
