The gearbox is one of the important accessories for the retractable awning, which controls the opening and closing of the awning.We have different kind of turns of gear box,normally is in transmission ratio 1:7,1:11 and 1:16. Transmission ration are the turns of the crank handle to a single turn of the roller tube. Attach to the existing end bracket and slide over the 1/2" (12mm) square shaft of the gear end rudder pivot located in the end of the roller tube. Only "hook" crank handles are used for operation.
