-1. TIE IT WITH A KNOT
In dealing with currents and winds, your paddleboard is likely going to "paddle" away from you. Go grab a leash!
-2 "IT LOOKS THE SAME!"
It's hard for beginners to pinpoint whether you are pointing the board to the right direction. Doing it right would put lesser pressure on your shoulders.
-3 BUST IT OUT WITH CORE STRENGHT
Arm muscles aren't going to give you a smoother time paddling. Abdominal core is the KEY!
-4 PUT YOUR HEAD UP HIGH
There's not much to see down below (except for your boring feet)-check out the skies! It promotes stability as it evenly distributes body weight.
-5 DON'T GET TOUCHY
...with other paddleboard users on the water. The lakes and rivers have more than enough room for paddling. Paddleboards are havey, classing would cause serious damage.
-6 FALL GRACEFULLY
Even pros fall from time to time. Try not to fall on your board, it's hard as a rock. Fall gracefully into the waters.
-7 DON'T RIDE ON WILD
Know what your skill level is. Don't ride a wave which you are not sure of , do you catch my drift?
-8 WATCH THE NEWS!
For possible change of weather conditions. If it gets windy, return to shore by resting your body on the board-same thing with what you'd do on a surfboard
9-DRESS APPROPRIATELY
If it's cold out, don't wear a bathing suit people! A dry suit or wetsuit saves you from hypothermia.
-10 TAKE CARE OF YOUR GEARS
Paddleboards are badass on water. but they're pretty fragile on land. Follow proper aftercare methods
