◪ Based Material for casegood furniture: Plywood/MDF with natural veneer.

◪ All hardwood to be uniformly kiln-dried & suitable for contract use. all solid timber frame corners & edges to be smooth and rouned off. interior joints to be dowelled, glued, screwed & corned blocked.
◪ Stone construction: all stone pieces to be mechanically secured together. provide all corrosion proof hardware to secure pieces together.
◪ Stone finish: provide clear water and alcohol resistant, non-yellowing penetrating sealer.
◪ Metal construction: mild steel with all joints welded, braised and polished. provide proper support for size of specified piece to avoid racking and twisting.
◪ Where required in drawings, manufacturer to provide heavy duty metal drawer glides with stops. (blum brand)
◪ Hardware – to be rust proof & corrosion free. each piece of furniture is to be fitted with appropriate bumpers, glides & stops or as called for on drawings. manufacturer to submit hardware sample for approval.
◪ Where required in drawings, manufacturer to provide clear plastic disks for use under glass tops to minimize glass movement.
◪ All interior & back components shall be stained & given a coat of sealer and lacquer.
◪ All fabricated furniture must be of contract quality & all material used shall be new & of the best grade obatainable of their respective types.
