When the fault is removed (that is, the current is reduced to a normal state or the temperature is reduced), due to the memory characteristics of the material, the molecular structure will return to the tight and regular state at the original low temperature, the conductive particles re-contact, the current channel is restored, and its resistance is again Return to low resistance. As a protection element, polymer-based PTC materials are widely used in communication circuits, electronic ballasts for energy-saving lamps, micro-motors, and automobiles.
