Grundfos mechanical seal GRF-E is a pump seal which fit for Grundfos CM horizontal pumps, like CM 1/3/5, CM 10/15/25, this grundfos seal get 2 shaft size only, 12mm and 16mm.
The popular material for the seal face is carbon and silicon, those 2 material can be used for both rotary and stationary seal face, the rubber part normally use epdm or viton. Sometime use tungsten carbide for the grundfos seal ring, but the cost is higher than silicon or carbon.
