GYFTA cable
In the GYFTA cable, single mode/multimode fibers are positioned in the loose tubes, the tubes are filled with water blocking filling compound. Tubes and fillers are stranded around the FRP strength member into a circular cable core. An APL is applied around the core. Which is filled with the filling compound to protect it. Then the cable is completed with a PE sheath.
Features:
Good mechanical and temperature performance
High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant
Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber
Crush resistance and flexibility
PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation
100% cable core filling
Applications:
Designed for installation in an underground duct for data transmission
Cable can also be routed vertically inside buildings
