Product Description

Lightweight high alumina brick ,also known as high alumina insulation brick . The alumina content of more than 48% , mainly composed of corundum mullite  and glass  phase or light refractory materials.Volume density  of 0.4 ~ 1.35g/cm3 .  The porosity is 73% ~ 66% ,the compressive strength is 1 ~ 8MPa .Better thermal shock resistance .

Usually use high alumina bauxite plus a small amount of clay ,after grinding with gas or foam to form mud casting ,forming   1300 ~ 1500℃ firing .Sometimes can also be used to replace part of industrial alumina bauxite .

Applications 

Lightweight high alumina brick ,also know as high alumina insulation brick. The lining and the heat insulation layer of the kiln ,and the part of the erosion of the material without strong high  temperature meiting .The surface contact temperature shall not be higher than b1350.

High qulity high alumina bricks can be used in direct contact with the flame of the furnace lining ,but should not be used directly by slay erosion occasions.
