HVAC systems duct fire air backflow damper introduction

1. Duct fire backflow damper is usually installed in the air-conditioning ventilation systems or fire resistant system. Its blades keep closed. After axial flow fans open, blades under the action of wind pressure will automatically open. When temperature reach 280°C axial flow fans stop running, fire damper blades will close automatically to prevent the backflow of fire. 

2. The scope of application and the principle: Applicable to the ventilation, air-conditioning duct with flow volume control and fire prevention demand.

3. Suitable for duct wind speed is not less than 8 m/s.

4. The shape of duct fire backflow damper can be Circular and rectangular according to different duct. According to the fire damper in the position of the duct, can be divided into vertical and horizontal.

Attention:

1. Check air volume damper, fire damper body not deformation before installation, actuator manual action can flexible open and close, equipped with fusible piece to see the fusible piece is complete.

2. The air volume damper body and direction position should be correct when installation, the valve position when installing does not match, please don't use blunt knock each air volume damper, fire damper parts, should repair the installation location.

3.  After installation of air volume damper, clean the check should be made for the body, the body can’t have impurities. 

4. When the valve plug, should check whether the actuator power supply voltage level is reached DC24V. According to the electrical connection that confirms to rear can electricity debugging.
