The main role of the LTE Indoor Distribution MIMO Extended System (LIMES) is to help operators to reduce the difficulty in setting up dual MIMO antennas, shorten the construction period, and ensure the high quality service performance in indoor LTE network engineering and deployment.

The main role of the LTE Indoor Distribution MIMO Extended System (LIMES) is to help operators to reduce the difficulty in setting up dual MIMO antennas, shorten the construction period, and ensure the high quality service performance in indoor LTE network engineering and deployment.

TD-LTE active antenna system refers to a one-lined indoor coverage system which uses a full-duplex, RF linear amplified distribution equipment using in the fourth generation TD-LTE mobile communication network, and adopts frequency conversion technology, realizing double current or more of TD-LTE MOMO signal transmission by using one feeder.

● Active combiner: Access NE of TD-LTE dual active antenna system. Downlink receives multiple signals with multiple modes from RRU, processing the MIMO signal from RRU of TD-LTE equipment and combining with signals of other modes, and then transmit to the active antenna through the distribution system.  Uplink signal of multiple modes from active antenna, including TD-LTE signal processed by the active combiner, will combine and transfer to the signal port of RRU. All signal only exsits in one form.
● Active Antenna: Peripheral unit of TD-LTE dual active antenna system. Uplink processes the TD-LTE signal from the terminal of the coverage area and combines with other signals of other modes then transmits to the active combiner through distribution system. Downlink accesses signals of multiple modes from the active combiner. TD-LTE signal processed by active antenna will combine with other signal of other modes to cover. An integrated type of active antenna should be provided in this system.Peripheral unit integrates with passive antenna.
● Coaxial remote feeder unit: Providing remote power feeding for the remote active antenna through a coaxial cable and transmitting the RF signal of uplink and downlink at the same time. Only exsits in integrated form or split form.
● Access NE: Access network element in this system is defined as active combiners.
● Peripheral units: the peripheral unit in this system is defined as the integrated active antenna closest to the user client.
● Passive branch: one signal channel of dual active system.  Only bypass processing the input signal.
● Active branch: one way (or N-1 way) signal channel of dual active system. Frequency conversion processing accordingly based on the characteristics of the input signal.
● Overcurrent combiner: the combiner providing feeder channel for the indoor distribution system through direct current. 
● Overcurrent coupler: the coupler providing feeder channel for the indoor distribution system through direct current.
● Electric appliance: feeder unit getting direct current from the indoor distribution system, without the function of blocking the direct current
● Feeder: feeder unit feeding the direct current into the indoor distribution system, the RF input port with the function of blocking direct current.
