Product introduction

Autotransformers are made by self-induction phenomenon of electromagnetic induction, mainly used to regulate the voltage. In an autotransformer, portions of the same winding act as both the primary and secondary sides of the transformer. They are widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, import and export equipment.

The core applies low loss imported cold rolled silicon steel. The coil structure adopts cylinder, oval tube and rectangular tube. Autotransformers have the advantages of small size, excellent quality and reliability performance. Since the calculation capacity of autotransformers is less than rated capacity, the main size of autotransformers is smaller, thus reducing costs. The reduction of effective materials makes copper and iron consumption decrease correspondingly, so the efficiency of autotransformers is relatively higher. However, due to the short-circuit impedance ε value of self-coupling transformers is smaller than double winding transformers, the voltage change rate is small, but the short-circuit current is larger.
