YT-932 Silicone Anti-Mildew Sealant for Glass,Metal & Granite
1.Description:
YT932 is a one-component neutral curing silicone sealant with outstanding antimildew that reaches to zero level of GB1741 and ASTMG 21. It is particularly suitable for sealing joints in mildew.
YT932 is extruded from tube with sealant gun when used,and it absorbs the moisture in the air,then cures to elastomer capable of maintaining a seal effectively.
2.Characteristics:
. Outstanding anti-mildew property;
. Yt932 belongs to RTV-1.good extrusion and thixotropy between 4℃~40℃ Easy to use;
. Neutral curing, non-corrosive to Alum curtain, coated glass, concrete, marble, granite etc;
. Release low-molecular-weight alcohol and no unpleasant odor during cure;
. Excellent resistance to weather, UV, ozone, water;
. Excellent resistance to low and high temperature change,No fragility,rigidification or crack at -50℃, and no softening,degradaiion at 150℃ when cured.it always keeps good elasticity;
. Excellent adhesion to most common building material, without priming;
. Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
3.Purpose:
. Waterproof antimildew sealing and glazing in santitaires;
. Perimeter glazing for windows and doors;
. Sealing for glass, marble granite and metal plate curtain wall;
. Many other industrial uses.

6.Package:
. YT932 in 310ml Cartridge net 300ml.
7.Restriction of Usage:
. Cannot be used as structural sealant;
. Unsuitable for all kinds of material that can effuse grease, plasticizer or solvent;
. Unsuitable for the airproof location,because it is required to absorb water in air to cure for the sealant;
. Unsuitable for the frosty or moist surface;
. Cannot be used the product if the temperature is below 4℃ or above 40℃ on the surface of the materials.
8.Technical Service:
. Offer the integral technical data of the products.
. Adhesion Test:
The products of YT932 silicone sealant have excellent adhesion to most common building materials,as glass,anodized aluminum,ceramic tile,granite, brick, wood.steel and most plastics.But we cannot ensure our sealants are suitable to all materials,as a result of the unceasing appearance of new building materials and the application of new surface treatment technology. In some cases, it is required to have the adhesion test on the substrates.In the laboratory of our company, we can carry out the adhesion test for clients and give the test report that includes experimental result,recommended products cleaning methods of the material surface etc.
. Compatibility Test:
If the accessory materials like baker,double-sided glue strip can not be compatible with silicone rubber,it may cause silicone rubber to turn colors,even lose adhesion.To avoid these problems, we provide services of compatibility test for clients.Clients can send the accessory to us by mail (or other ways),then we will carry out the compatibility test and give the test report.
. Staining Test:
We provide services of pollution test for clients.Clients can send the substrates to us by mail(or other ways),then we will carry out the staining test and give the test report.
9.Joint Design and Working Procedure:

10.Safety:
. Non-toxicity when cured;
. Avoid eye contact before curing.If happened, rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water, then consult with a doctor;
. Keep away from children;
. Ensure adequate ventilation at workplace or curing area.
11.Estimation of Dosage:
Remark:The actual dosage of silicone sealant may be different from interface design,installation place of gasket material,dressing technology and amount of wastage on site.
Please refer to Table 1 for the estimated dosage of Yt932 special point-support curtain wall sealant needed by various specification interfaces.
