Being the high efficiency cutting options, multi-head waterjet will never be the second choice. Laser is fast to cut metals, but only for thin metal sheets. What’s worse, laser doesn’t work for stainless steel or aluminum, etc. However waterjet can do well for thin and thick sheets at the same time, and free of HAZ, both non-metal and metals, even for stainless steel, brass and aluminum, etc.
The distance between two heads are manually adjustable for different cutting demands. And it’s possible to choose to cut with one to four heads according for some specific needs.
Teenking multi-head CNC waterjet cutting machine has multi heads on the same cross beam. All heads controlled by CNC have same motion and cut together at the same time. The cutting speed is the same for every head individually. Supported by high flow waterjet intensifiers pumps, all heads can cut at full speed and the total cutting efficiency increases several times over. That means one head efficiency is 1 and four heads efficiency will be 4. It’s popular for the super busy cutting solution center, which need cut big amount parts in same shape in short time.
