YT-936 Silicone Sealant for Roof, Metal & Plastic
1.Description:
YT936 is one-component neutral curing construction silicone sealant with trong and durable adhesion,purposely designed for weather sealing in all type Alum curtain wall and aluminumplastics composite plate curtain wall etc.Its physical and chemical properties are stable in artificially accelerated weathering test.YT936 is extruded from tube with sealant gun when used, and it absorbs the moisture in the air,then cures to elastomer capable of maintaining a seal effectively.
2.Characteristics:
. YT936 belongs to RTV-1. Good extrusion and thixotropy between 4-40 ℃.Easy to use;(Ketoxime type is easy for application within the temperature 5-50 ℃ ).
. Strong adhesion to Aluminum and aluminumplastics composite plate etc,without priming;
. Neutral curing,non-corrosive to metal,coated glass,concrete,marble granite and most kinds of plastic etc;
. Release low-molecular-weight alcohol and no unpleasant odor during cure;
. Quickly speed of curing.excellent adhesion.middle modulus, excellent movement capability.
. Excellent resistance to weather, UV,ozone,water;
. Excellent resistance to low and high temperature change.No fragility,rigidification or crack at -50 ℃,and no softening,degradation at 150 when cured.It always keeps good elasticity;
. Excellent adhesion to most common building material, without priming;
. Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
3.Purpose:
. Weather sealing in all type Alum. curtain wall joints and Aluminum-plastics composite plate curtain wall joints;
. Sealing in concrete, plastics and metal joints;
. Sealing in roof joints of constructions;
. Many other uses.

6.Package:
. YT936 in 310ml Cartridge net 300ml.or in 590ml multi-membrane cartridge.
7.Restriction of Usage:
. Cannot be used as structural sealant;
. Unsuitable for all kinds of material that can effuse grease, plasticizer or solvent;
. Unsuitable for the airproof location, because it is required to absorb moisture in air to cure for the sealant;
. Unsuitable for the frosty or moist surface;
. Unsuitable for the continually soggy or moist place;
. Cannot be used if the temperature is below 4 or above 40 on the surface of the materials.

-Adhesion Test:
The products of YT936 silicone sealant have excellent adhesion to most common building material,as glass,anodized aluminum,ceramic tile、granite、 brick、 wood、steel and most plastics.But we cannot ensure our sealants are suitable to all materials, as a result of the unceasing appearance of new building materials and the application of new surface treatment technology.In some cases, it is required to have the adhesion test on the substrates.In the laboratory of our company we can carry out the adhesion test for clients and give the test report that includes experimental result,recommended products,cleaning methods of the material surface etc.
-Compatibility Test:
If the accessory materials like baker,double-sided glue strip can not be compatible with silicone rubber,it may cause silicone rubber to turn colors, even lose adhesion.To avoid these problems, we provide services of compatibility test for clients. Clients can send the accessory to us by mail (or other ways), then we will carry out the compatibility test and give the test report.

10.Safety:
. Non-toxicity when cured;
. Avoid eye contact before curing.If happened,rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water,then consult with a doctor;
. Keep away from children;
. Ensure adequate ventilation at workplace or curing area.
11.Estimation of Dosage:
Remark: The actual dosage of silicone sealant may be different from interface design, installation place of gasket material dressing technology and amount of wastage on site.
