YT-911 Silicone Weather-Proofing Sealant for Metal & Glass

1.Description:

Yuantong Sealant Co., Ltd. has gained many technology breakthroughs after years of research and development and series of products of alcohol-silicone sealant have been developed successfully, among which YT911 is the silicone building sealant with good quality of our company. It has many advantages of acid silicone sealant as good adhesion to many construction materials,high strength and short time for surface drying etc..It has also overcome some disadvantages of acid silicone sealant as irritating smell,corrosion to metal and coating glass etc. Yt911 can be used for various joint sealing instead of acid silicone sealant.It enjoys a larger applicable scale than acid silicone sealant.

2.Characteristics:
. One component and convenient for using, good extrusion and thixotropy within 4℃~40℃ and can be used directly after being extruded with sealing gun.
. Neutral solidification,no corrosion to building materials as aluminium sheet,caviti-glass,concrete,marble and granite etc.and wide application.
. Low-molecular-weight alcohol substances are released during solidification, no irritating or disgusting smell.
. Outstanding anti-high and low temperature property.It will not embrittle,harden or crack under -50℃ low temperature or soften under +150℃ high temperature after solidification, but always keeps in good elasticity.
. Good adhesive property.Great adhesion and sealing can be formed with most building materials without any basecoat after solidification.
. Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealant.

6.Package:
. 310mL plastic tube package (Net capacity: 300mL).

7.Restriction of Usage:
. Can not be used as structural silicone sealant.
. Not suitable for the surface of materials as oil-soaking wood that may exude oil and fat,plasticizer or solvent.  
. Not suitable for closed places because silicon sealant should absorb the moisture in the air for solidification.
. Not suitable for frosting or wet surface.
. Not suitable for continuous water soaking places or places that are wet all the year round.
. construction should not be carried out in case the surface temperature of the materials is under 4℃ or over 40℃.

. Adhesive Property Test:
The series of products of YT911 silicone sealant have good adhesive property to most building materials as glass,anode processing aluminum materials,ceramic tile,granite,brick,wood and metal as well as most plastics.However, we cannot guarantee that the silicone sealant is applicable for all materials for continuous development of  new building materials and application of new surface treatment technique.Adhesive test should be carried out to the silicone sealant and the materials  adopted  in  the  project in some conditions. The lab of our company can provide with adhesive test for the customers to evaluate the adhesive property of YT911 silicone sealant and the materials selected by the customer for the project.Written report,including the test result,product recommendation,surface cleaning mode and whether should use basecoat,will be provided to the customer.
. Compatibility Test:
The color of silicone rubber will be changed and the adhesion of the same may even lose if the auxiliary fixation materials as foam stripe and double sided glue etc.are incompatible with silicone rubber. With a view to avoid this problem  happening,our company provides compatibility test for the customer.The customer can mail(or by other  means) the auxiliary materials selected for the project to us and compatibility test will be carried out by our lab,then a written report will be provided.
. Pollution Test:

10. Safety:
The product is nontoxic after solidifying completely. Touch with the eyes should be avoided before solidification. In case this happens, please wash the eyes with water and go to the doctor for help; Children  should  be  kept  away  from  the  un-solidified  product.  Low  molecular  compounds  may  be released during the solidification of silicone sealant, thus attention in ventilation should be paid in the construction and solidification areas with a view to avoid negative effects to human body caused by these compounds for over high concentration.

11.Estimation of Dosage:
Remark:The actual dosage of silicone sealant may be different from interface design,installation place of gasket material, dressing technology and amount of wastage on site.
