Ceramic PTC heaters are divided into surface charged type and surface non-charged type. What we are talking about here is the surface without type.

(Now many bath fighters and heaters use surface-charged type) (air conditioners generally use surface-non-charged type).

  At present, there are three types of electric auxiliary heaters used in the air conditioning industry. One is a common wire electric heater, a metal PTC heater, and a ceramic PTC heater.

Ceramic PTC heaters have been used more and more widely because of their safety and energy saving advantages. Nowadays, mainstream air-conditioning manufacturers have basically adopted them.

The metal PTC heater is actually an improved wire type electric heater. In production, the internal heating element is a special resistance wire (the resistance wire will increase to a certain degree after the temperature increases) ). The commonly used metal PTC is stable at about 600 ° C. An iron tube is usually set in the metal PTC heat-dissipating aluminum tube, and the iron tube contains magnesium powder and resistance wire.
